How do I book medical transport?
Call +40 758 409 100 or fill in the quote request form on the site. You'll need the pickup address, destination, date and a few patient details. We reply with a price within one hour.
How much does a private ambulance in Brașov cost?
Transport within Brașov starts at 300 RON, round-trip 500 RON, county-wide about 650 RON, and national/international (EU) transport is 7 RON/km round-trip, all fees included. The final price is confirmed based on distance and required services.
What is the difference between assisted and non-assisted transport?
With assisted transport, a nurse accompanies the patient throughout the trip, with monitoring and oxygen if needed. Non-assisted transport is for stable patients who do not require medical supervision during travel.
Do you provide transport outside Brașov and abroad?
Yes. We provide medical transport across Brașov county, nationally and internationally across the EU, at 7 RON/km round-trip, fees included.
Are you an emergency service?
No. NucleusMED is private, scheduled, paid medical transport. For medical emergencies call 112 — the free public emergency service.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead. Same-day requests are subject to a 100 RON urgency fee, subject to availability.
Can the transport be reimbursed through insurance?
NucleusMED is a private, paid service. We issue an invoice and the necessary supporting documents; for any reimbursement, we recommend checking the conditions with your insurer.
What equipment do the ambulances have?
Our Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen fleet is equipped with rolling stretcher, stair-climbing chair, medical oxygen, vital-sign monitors and mobilization equipment for patients with reduced mobility. We hold ANMDMR approval and DSP authorization.
